Tailoring our Productssubtle changes to make units unique to your school

All of our recycling bins and waste solutions are available with a variety of styles and options to tailor your products for your specific needs. Old Dominion University came to us looking for several recycling bins for their recycling program on campus.

Their needs were specific, they wanted to further their mission of tastefully promoting their sustainability efforts and at the same time increase the student participation in the recycling program and maximize awareness.

select your collection

I really like the Verde collection, but we'll need a larger capacity recycling bin.

"Verde Collection"

Old Dominion started their tailoring process by selecting the Verde collection for it's beautiful arch styling, not to mention that it is made entirely of 97% pure recycled plastic (milk jugs).

select the size of your recycling bin

Great; since the recycling bins will be primarily set outdoors, a vail top would probably suit us better.

"Double 38 Gallon"

They then selected the double 38 gallon recycling bin since they required the extra capacity to modify their three stream system into a two stream with commingle recycling.

select a roof option for outdoor use

In adhering to our school's branding standards, let's see how Gray trim and Navy panels look.

"Vail Top"

Next, they elected to incorporate our vail top roof option since the recycling bins would be outdoors. The vail top roof prevents waste materials, rain, snow and other debris from collecting on top.

coordinate recycling bin colors

Let's put a restrictive opening on the recycling bin side to help keep any unwanted materials out.

"Gray trim & Navy panels"

Old Dominion then decided to color coordinate the recycling bins with their school branding standards and selected gray trim with navy panels.

add restrictive openings

Opening IDs will help students easily identify recycling opportunities from a distance.

"Commingle Recycling"

To minimize cross contamination of waste products with recycled items, Old Dominion elected to add a commingle restrictive opening to the right side of their recycling bins.

add visual symbols for easy identification

Almost there! Can you engrave our logo on the side of the recycling bin to further promote our school?

"Engraved Symbols"

Old Dominion wanted students and faculty to easily identify the difference between the waste and recycling streams and added engraved symbols to the front of their recycling bins.

brand it with your logo

Perfect!

"Engraved Logo"

Old Dominion completed their tailoring process by tastefully promoting their brand with an engraved logo on the side of their recycling bins.
